TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server is a distributable mediation device that can be installed close to Network Elements and other Generating Devices to aggregate, correlate, filter, and reformat data, in real-time.
Features
TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server is designed for real time collection and processing of complete Call Detail Records and intermediate events from fixed, mobile, and IMS network elements. TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server is compliant with today's fixed and mobile standards, GR-1343-CORE, and the 3GPP GPRS Charging specification 32015-380, as well as tomorrow's with Charging Gateway Function for IMS networks. TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server correlates information from application servers and network elements to resolve billing issues ahead of the OSS/BSS. The EventDynamics Edge Server provides a common AMA transmitter across all types of vendor equipment, and two-way file transfer to and from the network element reduces operating costs and improves the abilty to support the aging TDM network.
TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server provides extensive audit and revenue assurance information in an XML format for easy importation into other systems including the TeleSciences EventDynamics Core Server. Designed to run on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) NEBS certified hardware, the TeleSciences EventDynamics Edge Server is available on SUN Sparc and x86 platforms and is supported on the Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture, or AdvancedTCA (a series of industry standard specifications for the next generation of carrier grade communications equipment).
